This is the 2017 Chevrolet Cruze sedan; we were supposed to have the hat which is actually all new for 2017. in good faith someone actually made a little bit of a clerical error and we got stuck with the sand and instead of the hatch, but you need not worry because they’re both basically the same thing, you can just pretend that there’s a hatch in the back with big old boot.
With the 2017 Chevrolet Cruze hatchback you can fold those second-row seats flat you get more than 47 cubic feet of cargo space which is pretty excellent, now under the hood both the sedan and had share a 1.4 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine puts out a 153 horsepower, 177 pound-feet of torque can be matched, to either a 6-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission, and unfortunately we’re saddled with the auto box in this car.
Actually this automatic isn’t so bad I’ve driven the cruise with the manual, and the manual is just awful it’s just so lifeless and it’s no fun at all. So this is actually one of the only instances I’d prefer the automatic over the man. But the cruise isn’t all bad you know what comes standard with apple carplay and android auto, and the infotainment systems fantastic it’s responsive and easy-to-use. so is the fuel economy frankly this cruise sedan will average 34 MPG combined which is pretty excellent, but you know something I i just don’t really care for this car the interior there’s a lot of hard plastic and these front seats are very flat lifeless, and low which makes them kind of uncomfortable least for me.
And that disappointment with the interior, kind of carries over to the driving experience as well but let’s be real people who want this car probably don’t care about that, too much so it’s not really a deal-breaker so besides the impressive MPG the crews also gets 4g LTE connectivity, which means you get Wi-Fi which is pretty impressive. That means interwebs right you can you can don’t give me the death stare, simple question.
Anyway the 2017 Cruze is an incredibly important global product for the Chevrolet brand and I’m kind of surprised they didn’t push harder, and go farther with this product because it doesn’t want me like mountain Honda Civic or even Hyundai’s new Elantra.
